Question: Is this a permanent or subscription-based license?

Answer: Office 2021 is always a perpetual license, it’s only Microsoft 365/Office 365 that is a monthly/yearly payment, Office 2021 is almost identical to Office 365 and is a one time payment, you will not need to pay anything other than the payment for the license from us.
